Estate Planning

This is a broad area of law including counseling clients and preparing wills, powers of attorney, trusts and health care directives. My goal is always to assist the client in understanding the process, their specific needs, and the documents we are preparing. Many clients believe that all they need is a will, when it is very possible that none of their assets will even pass through the will. I enjoy teaching my clients about the whole process and the need to review beneficiary designations, titling and any alternatives that may save them unnecessary conflict or expense later.

I also assist clients with probate and non probate transfers including real estate, business interests, investment accounts, stock, vehicles and other assets.
